Each year SWEP of Greater Philadelphia awards Scholarships and Grants that are designed to help fund students working towards careers in the environmental profession, and organizations or programs that creatively address a locally-defined need to create, enhance, restore, or protect the natural environment or to increase environmental awareness of local girls and/or women in the sciences, engineering, or environmental fields.

The Green Smarts party is held to recognize and celebrate the wonderful women and organizations selected for our graduate scholarships and community grants.
