Description: BRS, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for our Environmental Division for a part-time or full-time position. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing woman-owned firm. We offer flexibility with hours and the opportunity to work remotely. The candidate ideally lives in the greater New Jersey / Philadelphia area.

Responsibilities: Project management; contractor management / administration on projects related to the assessment and remediation of brownfield sites; act as the main point of contact for clients; conducting assessment activities to include field work/inspections; data evaluation; report preparation; development of assessment and remediation strategies; proposal and cost estimates preparation; preparation of RFPs and public bid specifications; community outreach; budget management; business development support; and conducting other support functions as needed.

Qualifications: The ideal applicant will be able to work independently and will have experience in environmental assessment, contractor management, brownfield financing and project management, and community development. The ideal applicant will be able to provide significant contributions in multi-disciplined team approach to establishing site assessment, remediation, and redevelopment strategies that fulfill acquisition, funding, and strategic planning needs and considerations for our public sector clientele. The ideal applicant will also be a key player in the development of internal staff. An understanding and knowledge of NJDEP, NYSDEC, and PADEP technical regulations, GIS, AutoCad, USEPA brownfields program, and public sector program management experience are desired. Experience with grant management is a plus.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in environmental studies, engineering, or a related field is required. The candidates should possess at least five years of professional experience and New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP). Very strong written and verbal skills are required. Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to report to attend meetings and to work on job sites.
