NJSWEP MetroNet Hiking Event

Come meet up with the NJSWEP MetroNet members for a leisurely hike at the South Mountain Reservation in Millburn, NJ. The hike will be guided by the South Mountain Conservancy.  

This is a great opportunity to meet new colleagues, as well as catch up with old friends and welcome spring. This is a free event, so bring along family and friends!

Complimentary picnic lunch to follow at Locust Grove for those who register in advance. (Please register family and friends who will attend with you as "guests" during the registration process.) 

Where: South Mountain Reservation - Locust Grove (Off of Glen Avenue), Millburn, New Jersey

Cost: Free to attend. A $5 donation to the South Mountain Conservancy is suggested (via cash or check). Donations can also be made online at www.somocon.org. 

About the Park: "The South Mountain Reservation, covering 2,112 acres, is a nature reserve that is part of the Essex County Park System. It is located in central portions of Maplewood, Millburn and West Orange, and borders South Orange, between the first and second ridges of the Watchung Mountains" - for all you geologists! • You are welcome to bring chairs or blankets for the picnic.       
• Short walk from the Millburn Train Station.  
• Parking available on site and nearby.
