BCONE Event - Save the Date: April 11, 2021 - Guided Tour of Branch Brook Park Cherry Blossoms

In anticipation of a glorious spring after a long, cold winter, the BCONE - Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast Scholarship Committee is planning a guided tour of Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ--home to the largest number of Cherry Blossom trees in the nation! The park receives thousands of visitors each year from Japan and around the world.

Being environmental practitioners, we will explore Japanese philosophical traditions and their treatment of the intersection of humans, nonhuman animals, and the environment, as we enjoy during a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.  

All proceeds donated to the Charlie Bartsch Scholarship fund to seed the next generation of brownfield practitioners.
