Holiday Charity Breakfast

Please join NJSWEP for a morning full of cheer and holiday spirit at Americana Kitchen & Bar in East Windsor, NJ. 

Registration is $55 for members and $65 for nonmembers. 

This year we have chosen Oasis as our charity recipient. Oasis is a nonprofit organization helping women and children rise out of poverty. Their team works from Paterson, New Jersey, serving families in the greater Paterson area. Oasis provides food, clothing, and counseling to help women and children meet their basic needs. They provide educational classes for women and academic after-school programs for children to help them thrive. They address the inequalities facing women and children who live in poverty. For over 27 years, they’ve been committed to the idea that every woman and child deserves the opportunity for a brighter future. Their mission is to change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate, and empower women and children in need.

NJSWEP will be collecting new or gently used hats, gloves, coats, and other winter gear as well as new undergarments for children. These donations will go towards The Nest at Oasis. In The Nest, Oasis sells merchandise donated by Oasis supporters. All sales revenue flows directly back into Oasis social service programs. The Oasis Thrift Store provides high-quality clothing at affordable prices as a service to families in the community while contributing to the overall mission of Oasis. Monetary donations can also be made to our donations box.
