Come meet up with NJSWEP members for an educational experience at The Tourne in Morris County. The hike will be guided by Blaine Rothauser, Technical Specialist and Senior Ecologist at GZA GeoEnvironmental.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about this area while catching up with old colleagues or making new connections.
Where: The Tourne - Morris County Park We will be using the Boonton Entrance (41 McCaffrey Lane, Boonton, NJ).
Cost: $10 for NJSWEP members and $15 for non-members
More About the Area: The Tourne is a county park in Morris County, New Jersey. The park covers 561 acres with 10.7 miles of trails in four different municipalities - Mountain Lakes, Denville, Boonton Township, and Parsippany. The Tourne rewards hikers with a panoramic view of the New York City skyline. Other points of interests include Denture Rock and Mouse Cradle Rock.
